Matt White

Matt White is the Web Developer at Integrity Marketing, responsible for turning designs into fully functional, fast-loading, responsive websites. He works on the front end and in WordPress, building the custom themes and page structures that bring Vivian Liu's UX designs to life. His focus is on clean code, fast performance, and a finished product that works flawlessly on every device and browser a visitor might use. In an industry where many agencies rely on bloated page builders and pre-made templates, Matt builds each site from the ground up with custom code that is lean, maintainable, and built to last.

Matt's development process starts when he receives approved designs and specifications from Vivian and the creative team. He reviews every detail: layouts, spacing, typography, interactive elements, animations, and responsive behavior at different screen sizes. Then he translates those designs into production-ready code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, built on top of a custom WordPress theme structure. He does not use off-the-shelf themes or rely on heavy plugins to handle things that should be done with clean code. The result is a website that loads quickly, scores well on Google's Core Web Vitals, and does not break when WordPress or a plugin gets updated.

Site speed is something Matt takes seriously because it directly affects both user experience and SEO performance. A site that takes four seconds to load loses visitors. A site that scores poorly on Google's speed metrics can get penalized in search rankings. Matt optimizes every aspect of site performance: image compression and lazy loading, efficient CSS delivery, minimal JavaScript, proper caching configuration, and clean database queries. He tests performance throughout development, not just at the end, so issues are caught and fixed before they stack up. When a client's site launches, it is fast. Not fast for a WordPress site. Just fast.

Responsive development is the other area where Matt's work has a major impact. More than half the traffic to most local business websites comes from mobile devices, and the experience at that screen size needs to be just as clear and functional as it is on a desktop. Matt builds responsive layouts that adapt naturally to every viewport size, making sure that navigation is easy to use on a phone, that buttons and form fields are properly sized for touch interaction, and that content reflows in a way that makes sense at every breakpoint. He tests on actual devices throughout development because simulators do not catch everything.

Matt works closely with the rest of the Integrity team throughout every project. He coordinates with David Chung on development timelines, collaborates with Vivian Liu on design implementation details, and works with Kaden Mullins to make sure on-page SEO elements like heading structure, schema markup, and meta tags are properly coded into every page. He also handles site migrations, DNS configuration, SSL setup, and the technical details of launching a new site without downtime. When a project goes live, Matt is the one making sure the transition is smooth and everything works as intended from the moment the DNS propagates.
