The Kirkland Downtown Association promotes and supports the businesses and community of downtown Kirkland. Their website serves as the digital hub for the district, connecting local businesses with residents and visitors, promoting events and activities, and providing resources for business owners who are part of the association.
The previous site was difficult to maintain and did not reflect the vibrant, active downtown community that Kirkland is known for. Event information was hard to find, the business directory was incomplete, and the overall design felt dated.
We designed and built a new WordPress site that brings the energy of downtown Kirkland to life online. The homepage features upcoming events, highlighted businesses, and seasonal content that keeps visitors coming back. The business directory is searchable and categorized, making it easy for visitors to find shops, restaurants, and services. Event listings are easy for the association staff to manage and update, keeping the site current without requiring technical expertise.
